Reflections of each day while at the school

Day 1

Today we went to our school that needed check up on what we needed to have for the next day so we are prepared for work. i will be painting the insides of the school with two other people. Hopefully we would finish at least 3-4 walls on the first day and be able to help the others with their task's. I want to finish our school in the first two days.

Day 2

today we came to the school and played games first with the children in the first twenty minutes and later we went to onto painting the inside of the school walls and pillars. the color of paint we use to paint on the walls were light blue and yellow. i spent about hours painting about one hour digging to unbury the swing. While painting however it made me realise this could be the work i may have to do in my own house one day and so this experience has given me a small preview to my future skills ill have to deal with in the future.

Day 3

Today we finished the tree houses and also we were able to finish painting all the walls. We also sand papered the wooden swing set seats and made the children a brand new tire swing. We performed songs for then and they did the same in return. Later on we got our thank you's and appreciations from the staff and we gave the children a new school bag and toy for a girl or a boy.

Saisa Basketball For Semester 2

Semester 2
in this second semester i aim to try out for the basketball and represent my school as an athlete. I did not play basketball often till i came to Sri Lanka 8 years ago and since then i have been playing around. i find it to be an interesting and skilfull sport. I play as a shooting guard in my team and hopefully i will make starting five this year.

As semester two goes on ill be uploading some pictures of the practice sessions and local games hosted here or outside of our school.

Practice Sessions at home

I wanted to upload some pictures of me playing on my electronic drumset ( TD9kx) at home.

I find music to be very creative and it also plays a major role in my life as it has helped me also get through many stages in my time and has always been my motivation which is through my music.

Saisa Football

Saisa Football season has started and i have been going to the practices for a week now and we have already chosen the team and i am proud to say that i am in it. Now however i must make sure i keep my grades up to be able to travel and make sure nothing slips. I look forward to this years football tournament as i am not afraid to say that we actually have a rather strong team this year and that i am ready to give it my all on the week of the tournament. When playing in the local games and abroad ( Dhaka, Bangladesh) i will try and get some pictures of me playing football and show some of the special moments we had during this season of football.

Battle Of The Bands

during this month in november i will be performing in a concert on the 26th of november here in school. It is a charity event for the cleft pallete society, and i will be performing with my band ( Still Thinking) (band name) and we are going to play for about 20 minutes. When the performance has come and i have performed i will be uploading some music videos or pictures of me performing on stage with my band.

A planed performance

For a creative action in school i am getting together with skyler and some other seniors to play song 2 by blur for the gecko spirit challenge. i will be playing the drums on stage and the audition are today after school. i inted to upload some pictures later on when the performance takes place.

Sports Day

Sports day was during mid september and i came to school to help out my green house team .
